Paragraph Assignments October 28, 2010
We will cover coordinate, subordinate paragraphing and mixed mode paragraphing in November. You will be responsible to locate five authors (use text) and provide examples of these writing techniques. 15 paragraphs total of author’s works. Then, you will begin writing those types of paragraphs.
Coordinate Sentence:
Topic BB practice
1 The basketball team heads to the empty gym for practice;
2 stretching on the floor,
2 splitting into lay up groups
2 working on defense
And
2 running in order to get us in shape.
Coordinate Paragraph from above’s ideas:
A Everyday after the long school hours, the basketball team heads to the empty gym for practice.
B First, we all stretch, on the floor, our arms and legs to prevent hurting ourselves with injuries that could precent us from playing this sport.
B. We split up into two groups and do our daily lay-up drills along with crossover shooting.
B. Then, we work on our defense positions with shufffling until we’re exhausted.
B. Lastly, we run, run, run until the coaches say stop, in order to get us into shape.
